I am so happy I found Doolin Acres! My pups were so happy with their stay! John, Kelsey, and Kristin are so kind and attentive! Never have I boarded my pups before and I felt completely confident with their care. Top-notch operation!

I absolutely love the care and attention that my golden boy gets at Doolin Acres. I can leave my dog knowing that he is in wonderful hands. Thank you John and Kristin for the piece of mind you give me and the great care you give my Cooper. I highly recommend Doolin Acres. This clean, comfortable kennel is by far the best in the area🐶

We love ❤️ Doolin Acres. We went to their open house and we're sold! Our fur babies have been going to them ever since. Our little Winnie little anxiety when we leave but is perfectly fine when we return. So thankful for having them as a second home for our pups. Thanks so much🐶

Sine she can't speak for herself, I will have to say that this was the best boarding experience my dog has had! As an owner, I felt at peace with her well being! She was very well taken care of. In fact, I think she was spoiled!

If You are looking for a safe, comfortable, clean place to leave your fur kids, look no further! I have known Mac (John ) since he was a shy little boy who raised a dog for handicapped people many years ago. He and his Sister were puppy raisers for the organization that I was a founder of. You can bet Mac hardly spoke at class, but boy was his dog always well trained. He just had a natural knack with the dogs, even at this young age. That soft spoken young man's love for all things dog simply grew and is still evident today. Many years later Mac showed up at my door and asked if I knew who he was. I would never have guessed that this handsome young man, now all grown up, was that shy little puppy raiser Mac. He told me he wanted to learn more about Golden Retrievers, as he knew My daughter and I had had some success showing and breeding them. Mac absorbed every bit of information he could get out of me. He always wanted to do things the right way.
When he met his wonderful( and I do mean wonderful) wife Kristin, not only did love grow, but now Mac had the perfect partner to help him pursue his love of dogs. Together they have put together one of the best thought out boarding kennels anyone could ask for. Believe me, if there is anything they know, it is how to keep your dogs safe and happy while you are away.

Yesterday while visiting Mac and Kristin, I was thrilled to see that they are expanding Doolin Kennels, and wait till you see the unbelievable new additions. No kennel in this part of the country has this boarding option available. Of course, leave it to Mac And Kristin to come up with yet another way to make your dogs lives at the boarding kennel more comfortable! I won't spoil the beans, but drop by soon and see what they are up to.
Your dogs may just want to stay a few extra days! Deb Oster, Grooming By Debbie.

I highly recommend Doolin Acres Kennel! John and Kristin were absolutely great to my two Jack Russells and even sent me updates and pictures throughout the week that they were there. The kennel was kept very clean and tidy. I could tell Maddie and Rusty were taken care of very well. Having the couch there is a nice touch, especially since that's were my dogs hang out for a good portion of the day. Makes it feel more "home-like." Next time I kennel my dogs, I won't think twice about where to take them, Doolin Acres will be my first pick.

We are very picky about where we board our dogs. We have used Doolin Acres before and were pleased. You can imagine how happy I was to hear they re-opened after their baby was born!! Our dogs are both rescue dogs and one has some severe issues with separation. John was so caring and understanding that Dahlia was extremely shy and nervous. He assured me that Kristin would spend time with her since she usually does not warm up to men. Tansy, our other dog, we were not worried about because she loves everyone!! The kennel was very clean and I was allowed to spend time to make sure Dahlia would be okay. I think I was more nervous than she was lol. I highly recommend Doolin Acres for boarding your pet!! We will be using them again when we go on vacation!! Thanks for making our dogs feel so comfortable and loved!! Thanks for making us feel so good about their experience there also!!

My dogs, Molly and Tank stayed at Doolin Acres for close to a week. I felt very good about leaving them in Kristin and John's care. The suites are really roomy and clean. Kristin is a real dog lover and it shows in her compassion and care. Molly and Tank had a great time and will be coming back. It is so nice to find an affordable and awesome place to board beloved furry family members. Wet kisses from Tank and Molly!

I raised and showed Shelties for over 30 years and after retiring out of it, we didn't go much and after getting down to one Sheltie, depended upon a friend to take excellant care of her. I decided recently to have a back up plan for her just in case my friend wasn't available and it took awhile to find the right place; especially one that would let a dog out later in the evening. We decided to leave her for one night to see what happened and am pleased to say she settled in very nicely and seemed relaxed and clean when we picked her up. Will definitely use this facility again. Carla Whitehead

I was very happy with the facility and the care my 3 dogs received at Doolin's. The website had me very excited about trying them out and I was not disappointed at all! My dogs always smelled bad after being at 2 other places but that definitely wasn't the case with Doolin's. I can't imagine boarding them anywhere else. Thanks so much Kristin and John!

I am a veterinarian and pretty darn picky about who I let care for my dogs. Kristen was able to explain all of her protocols completely, showed me how the kennels are cleaned and show me exactly what my dogs would experience while at doolin acres. She is very knowledgeable about dogs and put my fears aside immediately. One of my dogs has some serious fear issues but she is always happy when we pull in the drive at Doolin Kennels. Dally and Sweena love their new kennel and all the personal attention / peanut butter kongs they receive. We are so glad Doolin Kennels came to town!

This was our first time boarding Bean and Dash at Doolin Acres and I'm sure it won't be our last. I was very impressed with the level of care and compassion Kristin took with each dog. The kennel is immaculate and the runs are safe which was very important to me. I know Bean and Dash loved being able to go into the outside kennel. Kristin made sure to answer each and every question or concern we had before we left the dogs in her care. And I especially liked the flexibility of her drop off/pick up schedule. It was really great to be able to pick up the dogs the same evening we returned instead of having to wait until the next day. We missed them a whole lot, but knew they were being well cared for. We highly recommend Kristin and Doolin Acres Kennel.

We boarded our Newfoundland Norm with Doolin Acres Kennel for the first time over the 4th of July holiday. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience! Not only did they take him outside for potty break walks, they also stuffed Kongs for him and gave him tons of individualized attention. Thank you so much Kristin and John for taking great care of our large, hairy baby! :)

I have had Mac and Kristin take care of my two beagles, Baron and Gus many times. The dogs always come home very happy. Gus used to not eat at all when he was boarded. When hearing that, Kristin was sure to take the extra time to hand-feed him. Gus has come back to us happy and well fed ever since we started leaving him at Doolin Acres. If you want to feel comfortable about leaving your dogs, then this is the place for you. I will NEVER take my dogs to another boarder again. Thanks Mac and Kristin!

John and Kristin took wonderful care of my 7 monthGolden Retriever, Murphy. They were able to incorporate training sessions along with his boarding. From the moment you arrive on site there is no question that they are in this business because they truly love dogs. While Murphy was there he was given attention around the clock; including healthy treats, walks, playtime and love. I was out of the country, but was informed of his stay via e-mails; including pictures. When I arrived to pick him up he was happy, excited and it was evident he was well cared for. His stay was well documented (food, temperament, etc.) on a log sheet that was supplied at pick-up time. I would not hesitate to recommend Doolin Acres to anyone. Doolin Acres is economical, clean and felt like a home rather than a cold-facility. I wouldn't think twice about boarding Murphy there in the future.

Some words others might use to describe me in terms of my dogs: overprotective, picky, adoring, etc. Mac and Kristin are my first (and usually only!) choice when it comes to leaving my dogs in the care of others. I, too, drive (far) out of my way due to the excellent level of care they provide. They are caring, attentive, and responsive with their 4-legged guests, as well as owners. Most importantly, my dog comes home happy, safe, and TIRED (proof of a good time)! Their property is beautiful. I don't hesitate in giving them my highest recommendation.

I am so glad to see you on the web! My dogs have always loved staying with you guys. It's well worth driving out of my way to make sure the dogs are happy and safe while I am gone-it's one less thing for me to worry about :) And I love that they come home happy and not smelly. I highly recommend your facility to anyone looking for a good place to board their dogs!

I have had my golden retriever, Levi, kenneled here and he loves it. Every time we get within a mile of the kennel he's so excited he paces back and forth in the car. Mac and Kristin do a great job of taking care of Levi. They treat him as if he apart of their family. Every time I pick up Levi, he comes home happy and exhausted. It's a great place for your dog to vacation while you're on vacation.
